It is strongly advised to do the 4-day desert excursion through Merzouga's Erg Chebbi dunes on the way from Fes to Marrakech. This desert vacation includes a camel trek, a short drive, and two nights in the Sahara desert. Additionally, the journey gives you the opportunity to explore some of Morocco's most beautiful locations and landscapes, including the Sahara Desert, Cave Nomads, Berber Villages, Panoramic View of Ziz Valley, Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, and Kasbah Taourirt in Ouarzazate. We'll also walk in the Dades Valley and Todra Gorges, visit the donkey market in Rissani, and explore a palmary with a local guide. Invite a Berber family over for tea.

Tour Plan
Day 1: Fes - Ifrane - Azrou - Midelt - Erfoud - Merzouga - Erg Chebbi
Your excursion will begin with a drive into the central Atlas Mountains when the driver picks you up from your Fes lodging. The majority of the day will be spent traveling as you traverse the Atlas Mountains and start to descend toward the Sahara desert, passing through lovely cedar woods, craggy rock faces, and Berber settlements. The town of Midelt, which is well-known for its rocks and fossils, will be where you eat lunch.
On mountain roads overlooking the broad, gushing Oued Ziz, we continue our journey into the Fes desert. The city of Errachidia, which is adobe-colored, will be passed through as we traverse large Kasbahs and palm gardens. We will arrive in Merzouga, a city on the borders of the Sahara desert, in the late afternoon. After overnight in the Hotel/Riad
Day 2: Merzouga - 4x4 Tour around Merzouga - Khamlia - Erg Chebbi Camel trek
You'll explore the lovely Sahara desert region after breakfast. You will travel to Rissani, an ancient city best known for being a fossil-collecting hub. The Alawite Dynasty formerly resided in Rissani when they seized control.
It is a cultural attraction in Morocco that also includes Moulay Er-Rachid and notable palaces and temples like Ksar Oulad Abdelhalim. Beautiful specimens of early Moroccan architectural styles are also there.
Following the sundown, you will return by camel to the desert camp for your second night. You can choose to spend the night in a luxurious or basic Berber tent while taking in the stars and listening to Berber music.
Men can be seen wearing the unique indigo blue robes of the Saharan people. Additionally, we'll go to the town of Khamlia, where you may listen to Gnaoua music. Then, in the late afternoon, you'll saddle your camels and head out into the desert to experience a breathtaking sunset.
Day 3: Merzouga - Erfoud - Todra Gorge - Dades Gorges
You'll get up early to see the dawn along the dunes before returning to your lodging in Merzouga hamlet. After that, we'll have a drive to Erfoud, depart behind the tall Atlas Mountains, pass through nomad communities on our route to Marrakech, and go for a hike up the impressive Todra Gorges (600 feet high). The southeast of Morocco is beautifully traveled along the scenic river valleys.
Lunch will be served during our break in "Tinejdad or Touroug." Then, after passing the peculiar rock formation known as Tamnalt Hills, we go on our journey into another stunning set of Dades Gorges. You'll spend the night at Boumalne Dades.
Day 4: Dades Gorges - Rose valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Marrakech
You will travel via Ouarzazate city to the High Atlas Mountains after a leisurely breakfast. The magnificent Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou is located nearby, and one of Morocco's treasures lies tucked away in this area.
The real riches must be sought out and found, generally off the main route, in true Moroccan style. In fact, more movies have been filmed here than anywhere else in Morocco, including "Lawrence of Arabia," "Jesus of Nazareth," and "The Gladiator" among others!
You may eat in Kasbah Ait Benhaddou for lunch. You will go to Marrakech in the late afternoon through Tizi N'Tichka (2,260 meters above sea level), which will take you over four hours to traverse.
At around seven o'clock in the evening, we will arrive in Marrakech and deliver you to your lodging (Riad/Hotel). End of our services: 4-day desert excursion from Fes to Marrakech.
